Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor, this position assists in the processing of soiled linen on a daily basis and maintains the laundry area in a clean and orderly basis. - Sorts linen for rooms, cabins, and food & beverage department.
- Loads soiled linen into washer and washes according to procedures.
- Loads dryer and dries clean linen according to standards.
- Knows the operating functions of the laundry machines.
- Removes lint from dryer lint traps once daily.
- Folds towels and linens by hand.
- Places folded linen on marked shelves.
- Ensures washers are in use before taking breaks to augment efficiency.
- Assists Room Attendants and Public Space Attendants when needed.
