Full-time Nanny (Monday – Friday) Division: ChildcareRef ID: R417#######Location: New York, NY 10011Salary: $30 - $40 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 8am – 4pm or 6pm as neededBenefits: PTO, sick days, and other benefits are negotiable based on experience Travel: Watch Hill, RI (Summer Residence)Position Overview: A dynamic and experienced Full-Time Nanny is needed to join a team of nannies caring for three young children (ages 1, 2.5, and 5 years old)The ideal candidate will be highly organized, team-oriented, and flexible to travel between the family's residences in NYC and Watch Hill, RI.Responsibilities:
  • Childcare: Provide attentive and nurturing care to three children, ages 1, 2.5, and 5 years old, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a team of nannies, ensuring coordinated care and communication to meet the children's needs effectively.
  • Daily Routine Management: Organize and manage daily schedules, including meal times, naps, educational activities, and playtime.
  • Travel: Accompany the family to their summer home in Watch Hill, RI, and other potential travel destinations, ensuring a smooth transition for the children and maintaining consistent care routines.
  • Educational Support: Engage in age-appropriate educational activities and support the children's developmental milestones.
  • Household Support: Assist with light household duties related to the children, including laundry, meal preparation, and keeping play areas tidy.
  • Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the parents and other household staff to ensure consistent and quality care.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to the varying needs of the family, including potential schedule changes and additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a nanny/babysitter
  • Education: Completed bachelor's degree
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified; additional childcare certifications are a plus.
  • Personality: Warm, nurturing, and proactive with a passion for working with young children.
