Full Time & Part Time Groomers (Experienced Only)

The Dog Stop Bucktown is in need of enthusiastic groomers that are in search of a brand new, clean, and well run Salon to run their book of business.

We currently have 3 separated DuraDog electric X-tables for dedicated and seasoned groomers who don't want to run the business and overhead of their own shop, taking advantage of the captive audience from our Daycare, Boarding, and Retail business.

The Dog Stop Bucktown has additional staff at the ready to keep the less profitable work off of our Groomers' table. This includes full time employees that can handle washes, nail trims and other simple services, allowing you to focus on the most profitable portions of the business.

Grooming is offered seven days a week, so some weekends are a requirement for our Full Time Groomers, and applicants should be willing to work 5 days per week if a Full-Time Table is desired. We offer 50% commission on all grooming services, as well as discounts on all store products and services, and the potential for paid time off depending on the individual agreement solidified upon inquiry.

Dut??s In?lude

• Full Nose-to-Tail Makeovers (this includes bath, nail trims, and full body cuts) for all breeds
• Walk-in nail trims and gland expressions
• Customer relations develop relationships with clientele and their dogs. You should be able to explain to customers the best cut/grooming option for each dog.
• Managing busy grooming schedules and communicating progress to receptionists and clients.
• Maintaining a clean grooming room
• Keep track of inventory
• Upkeep grooming tools
• Organize and update client profiles
• At least 4 years of grooming experience with a wide variety of sizes and breeds of dogs
