The Opportunity: Patient Care Associate Surgical Unit- Ellison 7
Why This Role Is Important?
The PCA will assist the RNs on Ellison 7 with a variety of functions including assists patients with daily living needs, supervising & reading vital signs, drawing blood, and acquiring EKGs. Responds to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, supervising patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner.
Schedule
Day (7am-3pm / 7am-7pm), Evening (3pm-11pm), and Night (7pm-7am, 11pm-7a)
Rotational holiday and weekend schedule

Qualifications
* Required: Must have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care.
* Preferred: Licensed, certified or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR
* Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.
