- Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, and polishes floors
- Operates designated floor equipment to include auto-scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, carpet extractors to strip, scrub, and shampoo and wax floors, all surface cleaners, or other larger mechanical machines as a primary duty.
- Cleans bottoms of walls, windows, stairs, escalators and doors.
- Assists in the daily cleaning of office areas, restrooms, public areas, meeting rooms, or any or all areas of the facility with a positive attitude.
- Dusts furniture, baseboards, equipment, woodwork, and dry and / or damp mop floors
- Safely uses vacuum cleaners and wet floor signs according to operating standards.
- Clean lights, vents, baseboards, furniture, walls, closets, windows, doors, and any or all surfaces assigned
- Properly handles bio-medical spills and waste.
Team Cleaner Responsibilities: Prospects are responsible to assist in taking precautions for an office building space by completing the following sanitation tasks.
- Wiping Down Hard Surfaces and Dusting
- Maintaining Glass and Stainless Steel Surfaces
- Restocking, Sanitizing, and Upkeep of Restrooms
- Vacuuming All Entryways, Walkways, Desk, and Common Areas
- General Trash Removal
Touchpoint cleaning is performed continuously throughout all other areas.
- Hard Surfaces
- Door Knobs/Handles
- Light Switches
- Workstation Areas
- Some Glass Surfaces
Requirements:
- Drug Screening in New York Only (Not Required in Vermont)
- Housekeeping, Cleaning, Personal Care Aide, or Janitorial Experience Welcome
