Job DescriptionMy client is a local multidisciplinary civil engineering firm looking to add a Transportation Project Manager/Professional Engineer to their family-like team! Transportation Project Manager/Professional Engineer Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering analysis, formulate designs, and strategize production for transportation engineering projects, including roads, highways, drainage systems, erosion mitigation, and traffic management.
- Create job specifications and contractual documents intended for the purpose of soliciting bids
- Perform quantity calculations and estimate construction costs
- Utilize skills to produce outcomes and oversee projects to guarantee their fulfillment according to defined parameters and within the designated timeline
- Assist the Market Lead in achieving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) objectives.
- Efficiently convey project objectives, risks, and specifications to clients and the project team
- Create and uphold client connections with both new and established clientele
Transportation Project Manager/Professional Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years in transportation design
- Knowledge in engineering principles & procedures
- Knowledge in MicroStation, Open Roads and/or Autodesk, Civil 3D, & Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge in design standards - AASHTO, MUTCD, & APWA
- Excellent time management, organizational & problem solving skills, very detail-oriented, and proven leadership skills
