Regardless of the circumstances and background that a child comes from, we believe they deserve an opportunity for a good life.Eligible for $2,500 sign on bonus!!POSITION SUMMARYThe Therapist is responsible for providing mental health assessment and counseling intervention services for youth. The Therapist provides quality holistic services, utilizing the FFT-CW approach, continually monitoring and documenting youth's mental well-being and overall adjustment to the program. This position's functions are performed as part of a multi-disciplinary team and include development and implementation of treatment plans. The Therapist works closely with the administrative team to ensure therapy hours are consistent with youth's needs, and assists with the overall operation of clinical services. The therapists caseload between 10-12 families at any given time. The therapist must be able to work a non-traditional schedule to accommodate meeting the clients in person.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Conducts mental health assessments, assesses the youth's situations and provides proper ongoing treatments.•Provides crisis intervention services for all youth, screens for human trafficking concerns.•Implements various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address youth behaviors.•Maintains strict confidentiality.•Educates and involves family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary.•Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.•Use FFT-CW phases to utilize specific skills and achieve goals.•Comfort working with a diverse community of clients•Knowledge of the types of families in the community•Continuously work to engage the primary caregiver, family members, supports, and community agency staff (school, probation, child welfare) in change-oriented treatment. •Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress, with ongoing support from your supervisor and team members. •Receive regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities designed to help you acquire extensive clinical skills within the FFT-CW treatment model. SKILLS & ABILITIES:•Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to listen actively.•Positive and compassionate attitude, solid relationship-building capabilities.•Ability to work independently or as part of a team.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:•Minimum of master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or other counseling-related degree is preferred.•Experience working with families involved or at risk of involvement in child protection can be beneficial.•An independent license is not required but preferred.The pay range for this role is:63,000 - 63,000 USD per year (472 Community Intervention)
