Job Title Functional Lead - Meter data management system- salary $150K Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 12+ years relevant experience in Utility domain including AMR, Billing, MDMS in IT industry Roles & Responsibilities•Good Communication skills•Strong background in Utility system including power transmission, distribution, retail, and distribution generation.•Good domain knowledge on utilities business i.e., Electricity. Gas, water.•Influence a broad audience via effective verbal / written communication and presentation skills, including peers, product management, sales, customers, executive management, and partners.•Experience in design, project management and execution AMI/AMR, Headend and MDM projects involving integration of Backoffice systems. AMI/AMR system development and deployment.•Creating point of views for existing or upcoming industry problems. •Lead the business workshop on AS-IS AMI landscape, future programs, gap analysis•Understand AS IS architecture and identify limitation in current architecture with respect to technology, platform, and solutions.•Maintain knowledge of current innovative software practices in AMI and technologies and industry trends. Provide industry best practice and market trend with respect to new generation AMI implementation.•Functional Knowledge of L&G MDM platform, with all the core capability presented by platform.•Technical sound control over the MDMS platform.•Experience using a metering software package from (Itron, Aclara, L&G) for AMI/AMR implementation.•Good knowledge of smart metering, HES, MDMS and system integration in AMI. Functional Knowledge of various model i.e., billing, meter read and meter management, net- metering, Prepaid, case management, exception management, VEE etc.•Good working experience with various metering standards such as DLMS etc. Comprehensive knowledge of recent trends in AMI/Headend/MDM including but not limited to Smart Grid, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), IT-OT integration etc.•Strong Knowledge of utility Meter-to-Cash business processes. Knowledge on enterprise analytics platform and Industrial Internet of Things. Strong knowledge in different kinds of Database, control center software, networking equipment, RTU etc.•Knowledge of infrastructure operating system, database and SFTP services
