Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly reconciliations of client portfolios at a detailed position level for each client and individual counterparty.
• Accurately book trades in our proprietary internal accounting system on an ongoing basis.
• Monitor and analyze trading costs to ensure compliance with stated fees from counterparties.
• Generate customized accounting reports for selected clients.

Position Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of accounting principles for individual securities, including fixed income securities. Familiarity with mutual fund, hedge fund, and private equity fund accounting is a significant asset.
• 3+ years of relevant experience working in Fund Accounting (mutual funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, etc.) or Fund Administration.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
