Job Description A varied role, working as In-House Fund Attorney you will:
- Representing private funds (hedge funds and private equity funds) on a variety of matters: compliance, regulatory, capital raising, marketing, investor relations, fund formation & fund structuring work.
- Drafting and negotiating fund documents, side letters, placement agreements and fund materials.
- Working closely with the General Counsel, Deputy General Council and wider legal function. The Successful Applicant Demonstrable qualifications/ background for the In-House Fund Attorney:
- J.D. and admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state/ good standing, state bar.
- 3+ years Fund experience within Big Law essential.
- Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Ace of 1934, FINRA regulations.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a wider team.
- Excited by a varied portfolio of work, assisting/ advising multiple internal business units including senior stakeholders.Candidates must be eligible to work in the US now/ in the future without requiring visa sponsorship.
