In addition to the five undergraduate degrees, Minerva offers a graduate degree and a graduate certificate for working professionals studying remotely throughout the world.In 2021, Minerva University obtained independent accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges/Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Prior to that, since its founding in 2013, Minerva was accredited by WSCUC through its partnership with Keck Graduate Institute, and the institution was named Minerva Schools at KGI. Minerva graduated its first masters students in 2017 and its first undergraduate students in 2019. It currently has five undergraduate colleges and one graduate program. Its students and alums are from 100 countries. The current student population is 650 with plans to grow to several thousand over the next decade.Position Overview:The Fundraising Manager, will assist the Chief Operating Officer in program management, events, database management, volunteer/work study management. While the role will be 20% focused on supporting executive leadership on major gifts and foundations, the majority of the role will be focused on grant management, event planning, database management, and fundraising team coordination.Cultivate and manage a portfolio of at least 100 prospects through all phases of the giving cycle, from validation and engagement through cultivation, solicitation, gift negotiation, and stewardshipSupport the coordination of fundraising events and trips, manage donor relations, and engage with the university community to promote a culture of philanthropy and supportCreate communications plans, including designing paper and email invitationsCoordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, guest registration, and onsite supportCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional attendee experiencesManage event RSVPs, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up activities to nurture donor relationships and stewardshipDatabase management and gift acknowledgementAnalyze and track fundraising progress, donor retention rates, and other key performance indicatorsMaintain and update biographical and contact informationGenerate pledge reminders in a timely mannerAnalyze data and generate reports, including progress against goalsComfortable with new CRM implementationCross team collaborationCoordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups for planning and executionCoordinate across international timezonesQualifications:Undergraduate degree required4-7 years of relevant experience, with at least two in a higher education institutionComfortable with cold-calling, cultivating relationships, data, and ambiguityExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to travel 30-50% of the timeLocation:Minerva University, San Francisco, CA (remote/hybrid is an option)Position Type:Full-Time, ExemptCompensation:$65,000 - 95,000 per yearSalary is commensurate with education and experience, with an estimated range of $65,000-95,000. This range reflects a position based in the San Francisco Bay Area.Benefits package includes medical, vision, and dental for US employees.
