Scott Rice Facilities Management is looking for a furniture installer with a strong work ethic to add to their team based in the Kansas City area. Skills and Responsibilities:
- Experience installing systems furniture a plus (Steelcase and other systems furniture)
- Levels and adjusts furniture when needed
- Touch up as needed
- Wipes down and dust all installed product
- Follow directions of the Job Lead
- Stay up-to-date on new product and installation techniques
- Report any damage to appropriate person
- Maintain tool box with all required tools
- Maintain neat appearance in accordance to the Operations policies and procedures
- Understand and abide by all Operations policies and procedures
- Detail oriented
- Good customer service skills
Requirements:
- Ability to read blue prints
- Mechanically oriented
- Develop product knowledge by description, product numbers and manufactures' intended application-relative to floor plans and function.
We are willing to train the correct candidates for the position. Experience is not necessary, but a plus. Pay is based on experience. With minimal days missed, attendance is critical. Candidate must also be willing to work overtime. Strong communication skills are preferred as there may be times where you are dealing directly with clients. There is an exceptional pay and benefits package. A phone allowance is provided. Mileage and lodging are paid when working on out-of-town jobs.
