We want to hear from you!The Special Hazards Coordinator position is primarily responsible for the alignment of field staff and resources to complete the inspection and maintenance of fire alarm & special hazard systems, and extinguishers in existing facilities. Candidate will perform several specific administrative duties including service/dispatching field staff, managing inspection reports, invoicing, and coordinating with customers. This individual is a key member of the team that will be relied on to continue the department's efforts to grow and expand our ability to provide excellent service to the customer.Responsibilities:
  • Management of inspections through service/dispatch of field staff
  • Management of inspection billing
  • Management of inspection records (OneNote, SharePoint, FormLink)
  • Management of inspection customer care
  • Requires coordination with office and field teams
  • Answer incoming routine maintenance requests via phone and email
  • Be involved in the pricing approach to inspection accounts
  • Assist with deficiency quoting
  • Upload necessary reports to city/3rd party portals
  • Review and maintain specified margin on maintenance projects
  • Assist with the promotion of the requirement of fire alarm, special hazards, and fire extinguisher inspections
  • Other duties as assigned and as the business needs adjust.

Requirements:
  • Prior work as an Office/Administrative Assistant or similar
  • Strong administrative skills with an emphasis on organizational abilities/processes
  • High-energy, team-first attitude and desire to continuously improve the process
  • Ability to work independently and with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills; ability to professionally communicate with all levels of leadership, customers, and employees.
  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, ability to be resourceful and proactive when completing duties
  • Willingness to assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $60,000 depending on experienceAffirmative Action/EEO statement:
