Federal Work Study Student Worker: Career Closet
Overview: Provide staffing during Career Closet open hours. Assist students in selecting items for interviews and workplace needs. Document inventory changes recipient information and donation intake. Essential Duties:
- Help organize space and circulate clothing items based on seasonal factors.
- Sort through donations and identify items that need to be gifted elsewhere or discarded.
- Participate in special events to promote Career Closet and heighten student awareness.
- Coordinate with faculty volunteers on coverage, items needed, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: The hiring of student workers by Cincinnati State is premised on eligibility guidelines for federal work study employment: eligible applicants must be high school graduates or have attained a GED. Additionally, eligible applicants for work study positions at Cincinnati State must be at least 16 years of age on or before the date of hire.
- Must have completed a FAFSA for the current school year.
- Must meet and continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office software: Word, Excel, etc.
