Mobis North America, a major Tier 1 automotive supplier is looking for a Facility and General Affairs Manager is responsible for the facility management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Building Administration for the existing office in Plymouth, MI.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the construction process of new facility renovations.

2. Facility maintenance of the MOBIS North America Technical Center, which includes office and R&D Lab space.

3. Site security, Fire Safety and Environmental Health and Safety.

4. Electrical installation and maintenance management.

5. Utility maintenance (high pressure, low pressure electric equipment, emergency, fire).

6. Maintenance of gas equipment.

7. Maintenance of machine operations.

8. HVAC Management.

9. Environmental Health and Safety including evacuation, emergency response, and First Responders team.

10. Crisis Management of site.

11. Utility Management.

12. Facility equipment maintenance.

13. Greenhouse gas and energy saving management.

14. Waste and Hazardous Materials Management.

15. Infrastructure.

16. Office furniture and office layout management.

17. Landscaping management including snow removal and sprinklers.

18. Minimal Travel [Novi Warehouse]

19. Staff Management of 1-3 potential direct reports.

Responsible for Overseeing:

* Company events: arrange catering, events, entertainment, seating

* Preparations for visitors, meetings and VIP's.

* Recycling and waste management, tracking, verification, contracting vendors, processing payments/reimbursements. Verify and approve monthly gMobis report to CEO.

* HMA Car Lease: manage GA Specialist who place orders, assist in return of vehicles, distribute all information regarding leases, calculate invoice information and provide to Finance and Payroll for payroll deduction

* Invoice payments/reimbursements: manage and approve payments & reimbursements for GA expenses.

* Apartment leasing: arrange apartment lease for long term visitors.

* Office management: manage GA specialist and purchasing of office supplies, distribution of mail and ordering beverage supplies. Involves negotiation of pricing and soliciting bids as necessary with vendors

* Liability Insurance: Negotiate policy, annual renewal and annual premium. Manage and approve payment to Insurance company quarterly; discuss any issues.

* Travel arrangements: Ensure GA Specialist are arranging travel requests received from all departments. This may include using a Travel agent or may involve online search for best flight prices. Arrange for rental cars and hotel accommodations locally and out of town.

* Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors that GA uses. (cell phones, property/liability insurance, construction companies, copier/printer leases, etc.)

* Office layout, furniture purchase and install

* Facility construction / remodel projects

* Cell phone: company cell phones contract and service. Track usage on cell phones each month, discuss issues, billing or changes with, billing issues or reception issues.

* All other tasks assigned.

Experience Level:

* 10 Years of construction related experience

* 5 Years of facility maintenance experience

* Crisis Management and HSE experience required

Education:

Four year College Degree from an accredited university in Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related field.
