Salt Lake Community College Athletic Department is seeking part-time hourly game day staff to fill the following positions: Statisticians, scoreboard operators, official scorers, shot clock operators, public address announcers.Sports include: volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, cheer judging, line judgesThese positions are seasonal and staff are scheduled on an as-needed basis.Essential Responsibilities and Duties* Understanding of the rules of volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, cheer judging, line judges* Availability to work all home games during an athletic season including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed* Multi-task, work under pressure, and remain calm in all situations* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Compliance with institutional, conference and national governing regulations* Perform other duties as assignedEssential Responsibilities and Duties Continued Minimum QualificationsDirect experience in one of the following areas:Statisticians, scoreboard operators, official scorers, shot clock operators, public address announcers* High School Diploma* Previous experience relevant to the position you are applying for required* Knowledge of NCAA rules and general understanding of athletic events* Motivated, self-starter with professional approach to game days* Ability to take feedback and direction* Ability to work independently* Commitment to high professional standards* Schedule outside normal business hours.
