Because this moment is bigger than all of us.This is an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and our Boston Fleet team. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, positive and resilient to join our Fleet team. As a valued member of the Game Day Staff, the Show Caller will be responsible for:
  • Responsible for game presentation of games from a technical and production perspective
  • Direct supervisor of all control room staff, stage managers, hype crew, announcer, in-arena host and other relevant game day personnel
  • Advanced planning for game presentation and fan engagement, including run of show and script building
  • Implementation of run of show and game day documents
  • Cueing the control room and stage managers of all upcoming items in run of show and being the timekeeper
Successful Hype squad members should have:
  • Experience in show calling and stage management in sports
  • Strong ability to receive and give direction in fast-paced environment
Work Type: Part time game day staff. This position will be part of the game day staff for the Boston Fleet, working on game days for our home game regular season and any post season home games should the team make the playoffs. This position requires some work in the evenings and weekends.
