The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1 to work out of Cumberland County in the Southcentral Region. Join our team and protect wildlife and their habitats while promoting hunting and trapping for current and future generations!
DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Game Land Maintenance Worker 1, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled work and assists with other duties. For example, you will assist with maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. This position will also require you to assist with mowing, habitat management, and other duties as needed. Opportunities include assisting with prescribed burns with firefighting equipment, surveying of new game land tracts, and equipment maintenance.
