Rate: $10.00 USD per hour, plus $20+/hr. avg. tipsSchedule: 5AM - 9AM, Monday - WednesdayEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure gaming guests are kept in play by experiencing a range of fast and friendly service through well maintained machines, providing change, paying out jackpots, and the promotion of guest programs and events such as our New Member Offer, Players Club benefits, drawings, and giveaways, etc.
- Actively patrol assigned sections looking for opportunities to be of service to our guests.
- Sincerely greet and welcome all guests on the gaming floor.
- Celebrate wins by our guests.
- Complete paper fills and jackpots promptly, accurately, and with a high degree of personalized service.
- Completes verification paperwork for jackpot payouts.
- Maintain a good relationship with the cage employees to help execute gaming transactions.
- Offer assistance to our guests that are playing and explain features of the machine when necessary, including the ticket in/ticket out technology.
- Determine machine malfunctions and identify appropriate actions.
- Correct machine malfunctions (e.g., printer errors, bill validators, etc.)
- Perform cash handling transactions such as paying jackpots and making change.
- Must keep, maintain the integrity of, and balance cash wallets at the end of shift.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Always promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, team members, and leadership
- Complies with all Company standard operating procedures and internal controls.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Prior guest service and cash handling experience preferred, prior gaming experience a plus.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a license issued by the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation.
