DescriptionOverhead Garage Door TechnicianWe are seeking an enthusiastic garage door service technician to add to our expanding team. Must Have Garage Door experience. Primary responsibilities as a technician will be the service and installation of garage doors and openers, both at homes and in businesses, as well as the training of other technicians. Since our company offers repairs, new installations, and remodels, technicians will go to multiple project locations, and no two days will be alike. Every day, all over our coverage areas, you'll be representing our company and dealing with clients, so you will need excellent customer service skills. The ideal applicant for this position is someone who is comfortable working with power tools and has a basic understanding of how electrical systems are wired and connected. If you think this is a fantastic opportunity, apply right away!Responsibilities•Attend company meetings and follow company processes•Be punctual for all appointments and work hard to exceed customer expectations•Check the location and measure openings for installation when working on larger jobs•Utilize our software for notes, generating quotes, and invoicing•Perform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available optionsQualifications•For this role, you need to have outstanding skills in providing service to customers•Must be able to use a measuring tape along with math and problem-solving skills•Competent in the use of both power tools and hand tools•Good understanding with the wiring and connections used in electrical systems•Skills in communication, listening, and working well with others are a must
