Job Summary:6:00AM- 3:30PM| Mon-Fri
DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Recycling Center Sorter to join our team. As a Recycling Center Sorter, you will be responsible for efficiently sorting recyclable materials, ensuring that they are properly processed and prepared for recycling. With your keen eye for detail and commitment to sustainability, you will play a vital role in helping us reduce waste and minimize environmental impact.
Responsibilities:- Sort and separate recyclable materials according to established guidelines
- Inspect items for contamination and remove non-recyclable materials
- Operate and maintain sorting equipment
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records of sorted materials
- Collaborate with team members to optimize sorting processes and improve efficiency
- Assist with general labor duties as needed, such as cleaning and organizing the recycling center
Requirements:- Previous experience in recycling or waste management is preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify different types of recyclable materials
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Familiarity with safety procedures and ability to follow safety guidelines
