Highlights:M-F positionHybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Hours between 7:30am-5:00pm9 Month ContractBenefits of the role:Weekly payM-F, Standard business hoursAbility for growth in the roleNecessary Experience/Skills:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent relevant professional experienceMinimum 2-4 years' experience in a collections, compliance, or paralegal roleEfficient, well-organized, and able to effectively prioritize to manage a variety of dutiesStrong drafting and editing skills and attention to detailDemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiencesAbility to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in performing legal research related to state and federal laws and regulations and composing written findings to EGLA Department leadership preferredFamiliarity with financial institution core systems is preferred (such as Fiserv/DNA)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteCertification/License: Either obtain (within 1 year of hire) or maintain a relevant Compliance Certification (CUNA, NAFCU, etc.)A day in the role:Under guidance of the EGLA Department leadership, prepare, file, and execute on garnishments for successful small claims and other judgments.Assist with tracking and assembling relevant department reporting related to garnishments and as otherwise assigned by EGLA Department leadership.Collaborate with EGLA Department leadership and key stakeholders to document and maintain garnishment procedures and requirements.Obtain and maintain legal industry knowledge through research and, as necessary, attendance of continuing legal education classes.Assist with other litigation projects as requested by EGLA Department leadership.Next steps:Please apply directly to this job posting and I will reach out to you in the next 2-10 business days to discuss next steps!
