I am partnered with a leading integrated energy trading firm who are looking to hire a Gas Trading Manager. The company is an established U.S player with a great reputation. The selected individual will lead the Western Gas trading initiatives within a dynamic and fast-growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and develop initiatives for natural gas trading across Western U.S. regions.
- Develop and execute trading plans to enhance the distribution, and transport of natural gas.
Trading & Risk Management:
- Conduct both physical and financial trading activities.
- Enhance transportation efficiency and profitability by optimizing the use of pipeline capacities.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to monitor market exposure and refine trading tactics.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and sustain key relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, pipeline operators, and regulatory authorities.
- Serve as the primary conduit for senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years track record in natural gas trading, with extensive experience in Western U.S. pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing trading teams.
- In depth analytical and quantitative skills.
