Capital Region Gastroenterology is a growing group of four providers, including our Nurse Practitioner. Operating under the Community Care Physicians (CCP) umbrella, we benefit from being part of the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty medical group in the Capital Region. Our practitioners collaborate closely, sharing best practices, refining processes, fostering innovation and prioritizing top-notch care for our staff and patients.

We seek a talented and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our growing team in Albany, New York. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders and diseases. The is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with access to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases.
  • Perform GI procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other specialists, primary care physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid New York State medical license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures.
  • Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary and collaborative setting.
