Gastroenterologist
We are searching for a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our medical team in Geneva, New York. This position offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing specialized gastroenterological care to patients. Our Gastroenterologist will be critical in diagnosing and treating conditions of the gastrointestinal tract and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Compensation: $500,000.00 - $600,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consulting with patients to accurately understand their health concerns and symptoms.
- Performing specialized diagnostic tests including endoscopies and colonoscopies.
- Determining appropriate courses of treatment based on diagnostic results.
- Regular consultation with a patient's primary doctor to coordinate care.
- Analyzing patient historical data to support diagnostic accuracy.
- Collaboration with other specialists to discuss treatment plans and patient care.
- Performing endoscopic procedures of the digestive tract at both the ambulatory surgery center and hospital.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Certified-Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to make thoughtful medical decisions under pressure.
- Dedication to continuing education in gastroenterology practices and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary medical team.
- Advanced training in a subspecialty within gastroenterology is admired but not required.
- Demonstrated research or clinical project accomplishments in the field of gastroenterology.
