You thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of a strong first impression.As a Gate Station Attendant, our truck yard is your kingdom. Nothing gets in and nothing gets out without your knowledge and stamp of approval. You're the first one a driver crosses paths with upon arriving and the last one they see before hitting the open road.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Verify and record all inbound and outbound traffic
- Coordinate dock flow for receiving shifts
- Process driver check-in paperwork
- Choose and stage loads to be received
- Facilitate receiving paperwork
- Track and verify product on trailers
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
YOU MUST HAVE
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree.
- Sufficient hearing and vision necessary to operate powered equipment safely
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Experience in customer service
