Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionAs Fellow Intern in the Knowledge Discovery & High Assurance Systems Lab, you will design and develop technologies that advance and apply the state-of-the-art in technology in knowledge discovery, text mining/natural language processing, and high assurance systems.Aerospace Research plays a vital role in supporting the aerospace industry while shaping the future of flight. Our internships are aimed at experimentation for real aerospace problems, with patenting and publication both targeted in the completion of the session's work.Qualifications/Requirements
- Current enrollment in a full-time PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline at an ABET-accredited university.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Demonstrated experience with text mining/natural language processing concepts and open-source technologies.
- Demonstrated track record of designing, developing, and delivering software technologies to customers.
- Must be willing to work from the GE Aerospace Research office in Niskayuna, NY.
- Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale.

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific weekly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. GE provides travel reimbursement and housing stipend for qualified interns.
