Position Title: GEAR UP South Bend! Student Intern Salary Range: $15/hour Contract Length: TBD Immediate Supervisor: Assistant Superintendent of College and Workforce Readiness; GEAR UP South Bend! Executive Project Director Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with programming, tutoring,mentoring, and other events related to GUSB! functions Help develop and execute summer, after school and mentoring programming under the direction of a specific teacher/class/staff member or GUSB! Coach/Coordinator Work directly with students in the cohort to promote leadership skills Offer assistance to students participating in GUSB! Events and programs Qualifications: Must be a current South Bend Community School High School or University/College student Possess exceptional customer service skills, relational skills Must possess effective oral and written communication skills Have the ability to adapt to changing work priorities Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks with continued attention to detail Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail, Slides, Sheets, etc.) and data analytics software Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
