Together under the Shyft umbrella, our teams drive new synergies that bring innovations to life on the road - for an experience that is safer, more satisfying, more rewarding all around.With 50 years and millions of miles behind us, we continue to charge forward - leading the commercial vehicle transition to electric, innovating across all our brands, and earning our position among Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Companies.What you'll do:SUMMARY:The Assemblerposition performs as an active team member and is responsible for theinstallation of truck bodies and supporting the production and assembly ofvarious components.Allcommunication for this position will be sent via email, please ensure you canaccess your account.JOBRESPONSIBILITIES: Assemblyor installation of various truck body and/or walk in van parts Mechanicallyinclined and skilled with hand, air, and power tools Must bedetail oriented and very meticulous about your work Perform asa team member which requires the ability to learn, perform and rotate to otherworkstations Performthe above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safetystandards Obtainsupplies and parts required to do the job Assistother employees when assembly work is not required Cleandepartment and maintain neatness in the surrounding work areas Assist theteam in 5S advancements Assist inthe implementation of Lean PrinciplesWhat you need to be successful:QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diplomaor GED required A minimumof 12 months manufacturing experience preferably in an Automotive, RV, or Boatindustry Valid driver'slicense Goodattendance Ability touse ladders, enter and exit trucks, reaching, bending, twisting, squatting,working below knees or above shoulders and lifting as much as 50lbs Ability touse air and electric powered tools such as drills, hammer drills, torquewrenches (powered and unpowered), air tools (such as rivet guns, air drills,air hammers) and huck guns Ability toread and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms, and safetyregulations Ability tocorrectly use and read various gauges Ability towork well with other employees in a team environment Ability toread a tape measure to a (1/16) of an inch Use ofpower tools Must passa pre-employment drug screen and background check#Shyft123Why The Shyft Group?We believe that when our people thrive personally and professionally, our business thrives.
