Job Description:
*River Valley Family Health Centers is looking for a Dentist to join our clinics in Montrose or Delta Counties. This position has a hiring incentive of $5,000 which will be added to your first paycheck, and another $5,000 is paid after completion of your first six months of employment!*The Dentist position is a full-time, salaried exempt position; 40 hours per week. Come join our integrated team that is passionate about community health!A day in the life of a Dentist includes:* Examining individuals requesting care, diagnosing their dental/oral conditions, prescribing and carrying out, or directing others in carrying out, appropriate dental/oral treatment, or referring individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.* Appropriately recording and documenting all patient-dentist transactions in the patient's dental records as they occur so that the dental record accurately and completely reflects the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient, and the care or treatment provided.* Examining teeth, gums, and related tissues, using dental instruments, x-rays, or other diagnostic equipment, evaluating dental health, diagnosing diseases or abnormalities, and planning appropriate treatments.* And more!*Compensation and Benefits** *$156,104.00 - $175,156.80 per year, depending on experience and certifications** Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance* Life & Disability Insurance* AFLAC Supplemental Insurance* 401(k) Matching with participation after 90-days* Employee Assistant and Wellness Programs* Generous PTO accruing and available from the first day of employment* Continuing Education Opportunities*Qualifications** Graduation from an accredited dental school.* Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Colorado, DPS, and DEA registration.* Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred.* Ability to travel between clinics as needed.* Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members, patients, families, and others.* Ability to utilize a computer for time keeping, documenting electronic medical records, and to complete follow-up tasks.* A caring, kind, and professional bedside manner.* Ability to be a team player and to support and assist team members as needed.* Ability to maintain confidentiality.* Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are exposed to blood, body fluids, and other occupational hazards, and are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine._The Mission of River Valley Family Health Centers is to provide high quality healthcare in an integrated and culturally respectful manner to our community.
