General Facilities ManagerUSDA Agricultural Research Service is currently recruiting for a General Facilities Manager in Beltsville, Maryland.Duties:Lead in the planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing of all phases of facilities management across a multi-disciplinary unit for a large, multi-building campus.Provide expertise and technical knowledge in the supervision of team managers who oversee multi-trade facility and infrastructure teams.Establish strategic short and long-term facility (building and infrastructure) planning and manage annual operating budget according to the priorities of the Agency.Maintain centralized facility data and conduct goal-related program reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of facility management.Ensure personal property and real property adhere to applicable standards for acquisition and utilization.Communicate or discuss general or policy-related information with Agency leadership, Local, State or other Federal staff and customers with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.Ensure campus facilities are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.Experience: Qualifying experience for GS-15 includes one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-14 which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is experience supervising a team of employees; developing or implementing the operational budget for a project; managing daily operations of property management; and obtaining necessary approvals or permits for a renovation or construction project.#J-18808-Ljbffr
