Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Handyman to join our Nandail Property Management team. In this essential role, you will provide top-notch maintenance and repair services, ensuring our clients receive the exceptional care they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs in various settings.
- Ensure mechanical systems are functional and conduct necessary repairs.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks across properties.
- Install and replace flooring, stairs, and piping as needed.
- Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs, and other structural elements.
- Manage trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
- Service and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
- Bring your own transportation and tools to job sites.
- Utilize basic math skills to execute tasks effectively.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Stay organized and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Pay close attention to detail in all work performed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handyman is essential.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred (relevant experience will be considered).
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is crucial for this role.
- Flexible availability is required.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- A contractor or journeyman license is an advantage.
