We are looking for a skilled and proactive General Handyman to join our team. In this important role, you will provide top-notch maintenance and repair services, ensuring that our clients receive the outstanding care they deserve.
Job Description:
- Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs in commercial and residential settings.
- Ensure the functionality of mechanical systems and conduct necessary repairs.
- Carry out general cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the buildings.
- Install and replace flooring, stairs, and piping as needed.
- Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs, and other structural components.
- Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.
- Service and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
- Bring your own transportation and tools.
- Use basic math skills effectively in your work.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and stay organized.
- Showcase effective problem-solving abilities and maintain attention to detail.
- Proven experience as a handyman is essential.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools is required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Flexible availability is required.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- A contractor or journeyman license is an advantage.
