Position Overview:We are seeking a proactive and skilled General Handyman to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services, ensuring that our clients receive the outstanding care they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repairs: Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs across various settings.
- Maintenance: Ensure that mechanical systems operate efficiently and carry out necessary repairs.
- Cleaning: Conduct general cleaning and upkeep of properties.
- Installation: Install and replace flooring, stairs, and piping as required.
- Renovation: Repair and paint structural components, including doors, windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Waste Management: Oversee trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facilities.
- HVAC Services: Provide servicing and repair for air conditioning and heating systems.
- Tools & Transport: Supply your own transportation and tools to job sites.
- Mathematical Skills: Utilize basic mathematical skills for task completion.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Stay organized and effectively address challenges as they arise.
- Attention to Detail: Uphold high standards in all work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools is required.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Flexible availability is necessary.
- Mechanical aptitude is advantageous.
- A contractor or journeyman license is preferred.
