Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking General Manufacturing Laborers with a strong background in carpentry to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and possess carpentry skills that can be applied to various production tasks.
As a General Manufacturing Laborer, you will work in a fast-paced environment, performing various tasks related to the fabrication, assembly, and production of goods. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a carpentry background to utilize their skills in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
- Operate tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and other carpentry-specific machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials such as wood, metal, and plastic.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production deadlines.
- Lift, move, and position materials and finished products as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a general laborer in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Carpentry experience or similar woodworking skills are highly preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy materials, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and shift hours when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with carpentry tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience in wood, metal, or composite materials fabrication.
