If this sounds like you, then we need to talk...Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer at Frazer is responsible for performing any physical labor to help the assigned department finish tasks quickly and without mistakes that would cause rework. The General Laborer will clean, move, assemble and disassemble structures, lift, carry, load and unload materials and assist with any other manual labor work to support more skilled laborers.This position is expected to actively live out Frazer Core Values while working with Frazer employees, vendors, and customers to help achieve team, department, and corporate goals. Responsible for learning and reinforcing safe and proper work procedures while actively following Frazer Safety programs and other policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.What Does a Week in the Life of the General Laborer Look Like?
Come to work on time every morning, clock into UKG and read written instructions provided by the Team Leader/Supervisor in English to understand what duties are assigned that day.Unload tools, prepare materials and set up equipment needed for that work day.Read and follow installation prints/instructions attached to work orders using a computer/chromebook.Clean and prepare surfaces for the next stage of the production process if needed.Carry, load and unload materials to the designated areas as assigned.Use measuring tape to cut materials as needed.Safely use a variety of equipment and machinery to accomplish assigned tasks: (this could include forklifts, power drills, saws, levels, lifts, grinders, pressure washers, paint and water spraying equipment). - Must know how to use measuring tape and know basic math (5th grade level).
- Must be able to read, write and speak basic English.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have physical stamina and endurance to perform essential functions.
- Must be able and willing to work in all weather conditions outside as needed.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Must demonstrate ability to be QUICK and ACCURATE.

Oh, and $alaryOf course, we didn't forget the salary... Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.Work Schedule The General Laborer will work Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed.
