Salary/Wage: $20.00 (based on experience, skill level, and work ethic) Place of Work: Various job sites around Fayetteville, TN Position Status: 40 or more hrs/week Basic Job Description: Assist masons by prepping for the work, transferring materials, cleaning work areas, and caring for equipment used in the process. Duties/Qualifications: Mix mortar and grout, manually or using machines, according to standard formulas. Erect scaffolding or other installation structures. Transport materials, tools, or machines to installation sites, manually or using conveyance equipment. Provide assistance in the preparation, installation, repair, or rebuilding of block, brick, or stone surfaces. Assist skilled construction or extraction personnel. Locate and supply materials to masons for installation. Arrange or store materials, machines, tools, or equipment. Clean installation surfaces, equipment, tools, work sites, or storage areas. Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities. Remove excess grout or residue from block or brick joints, using sponges or trowels. Additional Information: Adequate transportation along with a tape measure, hammer, and holster. Workers must complete a drug test, e-verify, and a possible background check.
