SUMMARY OF POSITIONWe are seeking General Laborers for our growing team. Successful candidates should have a willingness to learn, have a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follows and understands project instructions and plans from construction managers or supervisors
- Effectively uses construction tools and equipment to complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Cleans and clears debris
- Safely operates a variety of tools including rollers, saws, whackers, shoveling, checking grades, laying pipe and raking stone
- Ensures construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
- Follows all safety regulations when operating equipment and wears appropriate PPE on site (proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothes)
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Has relevant work experience in the field
- Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
- Must follow all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
