General Maintenance and Repair for Assisted Living

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate working/hands on experienced individual to oversee our licensed assisted living campus. As the Maintenance Director, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents in our beautiful, assisted living. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to utilize their expertise and make a positive impact on the lives of residents.The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Requires on call dutiesThis role is responsible for the overall daily and preventative maintenance of the building and grounds. Will work with vendors who assist with maintenance repairs. Must be able to work independently and with little oversight. Able to make general repairs, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpet cleaning, some grounds work, blowing, weed control and side walk clearing, furniture moving and set up, general cleaning etc..Responsibilities:-Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities, weekly, monthly, and yearly per state board of health requirements.- Conduct weekly, monthly inspections to identify potential issues or areas for repair and make said repairs.- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services- Ensure compliance with all State Board of Health and OSHA safety regulations and standards- Oversee maintenance and inspections of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and other systems to ensure proper functioning, required inspections and service.- Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs- Manage the maintenance budgetSkills- Strong organizational and time management abilities- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and others.-Solid understanding and ability to make general repairs with drywall, trim, ceiling, doors, Hvac and Ptac units, electrical, lighting, carpet cleaning and floor cleaning, general cleaning duties daily.- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issuesThis is an excellent opportunity for a experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team.
