The Opportunity Description We're looking for a General Maintenance Associate, working in Light Industrial industry in Fulton, 38843. Follow procedures to ensure equipment is up to standards.Make suggestions for continuous improvement.Respond to maintenance requests within established timelines.Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and in adequate amounts.Drive powered industrial trucks as required to perform duties (sit-down).Move equipment or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks or PIT.Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.Repair damaged equipment back to good working order by utilizing mechanical knowledge to problem solve.Operate and maintain a wide variety of mechanical tools.Electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of equipment using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.Preform all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.Participate in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team.Utilize Microsoft programs to process equipment electronically.
