JOB OVERVIEW: Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret (Must have an active DoD security clearance or be able to obtain one) The General Maintenance Worker repairs building structures and mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems, and performs general maintenance on machinery. Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities
- Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required
- Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the execution of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnel
- Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required
- Work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays
- Work overtime as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a current state and Government Driver's License
- Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday.
- Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building.
- Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays.
- Be available to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to clear background and drug if required by the client.
