Our client is seeking to fill a Maintenance Superintendent position the company is targeting a candidate with a technical leadership background in Maintenance practices to become the Ringleader of their Maintenance team. This position requires a 4-year Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The Maintenance General is responsible for providing direction and supervision of personnel to meet the maintenance and support requirements of the mill in a timely, efficient and safe manner.A leader, an administrator, a communicator, an organizer, a problem solver, and a strong safety advocate.- Portrays and acts according to company principles.- Responsible for the productivity and quality of work performed by the domesticated crew leaders.- Schedules and makes sure that maintenance people execute the work with the crew leaders.- Communicates work schedules to Production and others as needed.- Has awareness and support of employee training needs.- Ensures work force effectiveness by setting expectations for quality, duration and continuous improvements of the planning and scheduling process.- Facilitation of timely documentation.- Responsible for the safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and cost of jobs being executed.Comprehensive benefits package
