General Maintenance Technician

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Work with Maintenance Manager and Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas* Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown* Work on assigned projects* Fabricate and install new equipment* Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program* Troubleshoot equipment* Utilize safe work habits* Wear appropriate PPE* Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures* Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures* Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures* Other duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS* Ability to work overtime and shift work as required* Standing up to 12 hours daily* Walking up to 12 hours daily* Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily* Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily* Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly* Push/Pull up to 12 hours dailyEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS* High School diploma or equivalent* A minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical, Building Maintenance, Machine Maintenance, Plumbing, etc.* Experience with Measurement tools, hand tools, and power tools is required* Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required* Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
