With a fast-growing presence and a reputation for excellence, they're setting the standard in the retail cannabis experience while fostering meaningful connections with their customers.THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced and inspiring General Manager to lead operations at a dispensary location. This role is ideal for a driven leader passionate about building high-performing teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving results. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of dispensary operations, from compliance and inventory to team development and community engagement.WHAT YOU WILL DOOperations:
  • Direct and oversee all dispensary operations, ensuring compliance with security protocols, inventory management, and state and local regulations.
  • Drive revenue and profitability by executing company programs, initiatives, and localized promotions.
  • Maintain accurate product inventory, financial records, and Seed-to-Sale compliance standards.
  • Implement and enforce cash handling procedures and manage daily reconciliations.
  • Conduct monthly audits and scorecard business reviews, identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
Customer Experience:
  • Lead by example to ensure the delivery of seamless, positive customer experiences.
  • Coach leadership teams on effective Leader on Duty (LOD) practices, ensuring consistent supervision and team recognition.
  • Oversee omni-channel operations, including in-store, curbside, drive-thru, and delivery, to deliver a unified customer experience.
  • Drive loyalty goals and retention strategies, fostering repeat business and building customer relationships.
  • Serve as a community ambassador, leading outreach events and initiatives to support local engagement.
People Management:
  • Build and retain a high-performing team through effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and engagement by providing coaching, feedback, and recognition.
  • Motivate team members to exceed sales targets and performance metrics through service excellence and product knowledge.
  • Ensure optimal scheduling practices align with labor goals and business needs.
  • Address performance issues promptly and develop leadership talent within the team.
WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • 5+ years in a retail management or supervisory role, with experience in POS operations.
  • Cannabis industry and inventory control experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to pass all required background checks.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license or state ID.

  • Comfortable working in customer-facing environments and varying outdoor conditions.
  • Exposure to cannabis products and allergens may occur.
