Job Description
We are seeking a General Manager 2 - Support Services for Healthcare & Children in Palo Alto, CA. This position will also oversee the Stanford Healthcare Tri-Valley location in Pleasanton, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Patient Transportation, Patient Equipment Management Solutions (PEMS), and Service Response Center (SRC) programs in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Harbor and strengthen lasting professional relationships with key client stakeholders.Conduct patient rounding with nurses.Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.Ensure employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation toward both clients and customers.Integrate fully within our client's organization by becoming a trusted advisor with a customer service focus.Ensure patient happiness.Analyze patient satisfaction data, financial results, and implement additional measurements and action plans to achieve optimal unit performance.Complete required departmental reporting, including financial reports and analysis.Build a positive environment while developing and motivating the team.Participate in and direct the patient transport, PEMS, and SRC operations, employee rounding, and interaction with patients, their families, and nursing staff, ensuring proper transport procedures and staff training.Refine systems ensuring sustained effort to achieve standards and follow through with visibility within the facility.Do you have:
Recent experience handling patient transport, PEMS, and SRC programs in a hospital?Understanding of the importance of patient satisfaction, with the ability to evaluate and recommend improvements?Strong client/employee relationship-building skills?Experience managing direct reports in multiple locations on the campus?The ability to quickly grasp situations in a rapidly changing environment and logically progress through solutions?Previous Service Response Center (SRC) management, Patient Transport, and/or EVS experience in a healthcare environment?Strong management skills for directing daily operations?Experience ensuring program compliance, controlling costs, and project management with a customer focus?The ability to communicate effectively and a sense of urgency?Responsibilities:
Responsible for general management of an account/unit providing two or more core services (Core Services: Transport, Concierge, or Service Response Center (SRC)). Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
