Description
The General Manager will be responsible for:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes, aligning with organizational goals and KPIs.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Drive the safety program for the site ensuring safe operating practices and high safety awareness amongst employees
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce production scrap.
- Develop training programs for team members to ensure operational excellence and adherence to company standards.
- Evaluate staffing levels and work schedules to optimize resource utilization.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to build a strong, motivated workforce.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly to minimize disruptions to business activities and ensure on time delivery to customers.

Profile
The successful General Manager will have the following experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Operations Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen).
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of business operations, process optimization, and supply chain management.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency in using operations management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
- Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs.
