The Dinex Group, restaurant group of internationally acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for a dynamic **General Manager** to oversee all daily operations for our new Downtown NYC restaurant.

We are looking for an individual who has an exceptional knowledge of food & beverage, creativity and flair; knowledge of business financials, and an ability to recruit, train and inspire a large staff. The successful candidate will have at least five years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced, kitchen-driven dining environment, a strong sense of responsibility and proven record of success. As the General Manager, he/she will make key strategic and operational decisions for the Restaurant while building an elite team to open the restaurant.

General Responsibilities:

* Report to Director of Operations/The Dinex Corporate Office in NYC

* Ability to prepare daily briefing to cover all aspects of restaurant operation

* Fluent awareness of local labor regulation and HR policies

* Build, manage and lead a team of talented hospitality professionals

* Sustain and develop relationship with key community stakeholders

* Provide feedback and coaching opportunities to all level of team members

* Thorough understanding of P&L and its elements of impact

* Demonstrate advanced emotional intelligence in high-demand situations

* Corporate presentation skills

* Local Health Department requirement knowledge

* Floor management - engaging with guests, troubleshooting issues, managing flow of service and management of book and the host team, communicating with the kitchen and dining room team

* Enforcing educational and disciplinary processes and ensuring proper documentation

All candidates should have:

* At least 5 years of restaurant Mid to Senior level management experience

* Budgeting and FP&A skills set

* Ability to multi-task and be efficient

* Mid-level international and domestic wine knowledge

* Ability to communicate and manage a diverse staff

Qualifications:

* Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business or Hospitality

* Continuous Improvement Training

* Forbes Service Standards Training is a plus

* Michelin Restaurant experience favored
