Job DetailsJob Location Dayton - Dayton, OH Position Type Full Time Salary Range $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift Day DescriptionOverview of Position Responsible for the successful operation of a Sales and Distribution Center. This involves sales, logistics, customer experience, and partner engagement. Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversight of the leaders and staff of a Sales and Distribution Center. Primary Responsibilities: Leadership
  • Oversight of all aspects of the Sales and Distribution Center (partner relations, sales, logistics, customer experience, and financial performance).
  • Oversee the work of department managers and staff.
  • Hire new staff in partnership with regional/Home Office.
  • Responsible for P/L, shrink/damages, and AP/AR.
  • Problem solving in partnership with Home Office/regionals.
  • Schedule strategically and use HRIS reports to monitor overtime, attendance, and performance management.
  • Opportunity to participate in regional/organizational projects.
  • Responsible for payroll budgets and administration.
  • Lead a safety culture through the adherence to government and company safety policies.
  • Operations
  • Responsible for purchasing via partnering with Central Buyers.
  • Recognize and resolve facility maintenance and cleanliness issues.
  • Maintain delivery fleet.
  • Annual budget
  • Create in partnership with regional manager and Home Office.
  • Monitor adherence to budget, make corrective actions, and communicate issues to regional manager and Home Office.
  • Supervision of the inventory process using inventory and ordering systems, partnering with department managers/supervisor, and coordinating with the Central Buying Office.
  • Sales & Service
  • Supervise the functioning of the Service department, ensuring the processing of invoicing, payments, and customer accounts.
  • Use assessments and training material to coach and develop sales teams.
  • Monitor individual and team sales performance using sales data, individual conversations, and weekly/monthly sales meetings.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to analyze and monitor customer data.
  • Partner with regional manager and Home Office to set individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships via personal visits, calls, or other forms of communication.
  • Identify and address merchandising/stocking opportunities.
  • Promote Ecommerce sale, promotional events, and special offers with the sales team and customers.
  • Partner Engagement
  • Own the new hire onboarding process, in partnership with the Training and Development team.
  • Foster a positive relationship with the ESOP (employee owners) committee.
  • Create and implement partner recognition/celebration events.
  • Ensure training compliance in partnership with the Training and Development team.
  • Post and promote Home Office communications via the local profit and communications board, the internal newsletter, and email notices.
  • Actively promote company benefits, such as insurance open enrollment, ESOP financial benefits, tuition reimbursement, and wellbeing services.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to travel periodically.

  • QualificationsEducation/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, OR comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
  • At least 7-10 years of sales, logistics, or management experience required.
