The General Manager will ensure our customers receive a high-quality, efficient, and enjoyable experience while visiting our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction at all times
- Managing the day-to-day back-of-house and front-of-house operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff
- Handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of all food and beverage offerings
- Monitoring quality control and ensuring all food products are prepared to the highest standards
- Creating and implementing menus that are on-trend and innovative while also meeting the customers' needs
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient restaurant
- Managing inventory, ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring sufficient stock levels of all necessary items
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Ensure seamless collaboration between the front-of-house and kitchen staff
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Managing the point of sale system and cash handling procedures
- Monitoring sales, costs, and expenses to maximize profits and meet financial goals
- Continuously improving the customer experience through regular feedback, innovation, and education
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve targets and maintain high standards
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming and friendly environment
