JOB PURPOSE

The role of the General Manager is to serve as a liaison between our customers and our installers. This position is responsible for customer service, consultations, sales, estimates, as well as project and team management. The individual hired for this position is a team player who enjoys working with customers and team members; excellent communication and a positive attitude is vital for this position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use comprehensive knowledge of companies' products and services to be able to do sales, give estimates, schedule appointments, and manage projects.
  • Learn company procedures and policies and be able to implement them in day-to-day operations.
  • Create efficiencies in planning projects, scheduling, and assigning tasks.
  • Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner in person and over the phone.
  • Show commitment to success of company by continuously looking for ways to improve personal skills and the company as a whole.
  • Manage the team by setting goals, monitoring performance, supporting training and development, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensure every invoice is sent upon completion of job and every invoice includes all billable hours as well as all services and products that were completed.
  • Increase profitability by doing thorough quality inspections, as well as managing team hours and inventory.
  • OUTCOMES OF POSITION

  • Every customer is taken through appropriate check-in and out process and offered all applicable upsells and is recommended a genuine cross-sale.
  • 12 positive customer online reviews per month are generated by asking customers for online reviews and following up with them. Customers will be eager to leave positive feedback because they were given a 5 star personalized customer experience.
  • The shop is functioning properly without owners present because General Manager fully understands daily workflow, team members timelines on projects, project deadlines, scheduling, pre-planning for projects, quoting, common problems that arise, and how to handle customer complaints/issues.
  • Documents, follow-up notes, schedule, accounts receivable and project notes are organized and accessible.
  • The General Manager keeps schedule filled, even in slow times because they know how to leverage power base of customers and follow up on sales in the pipeline.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Facebook, Instagram
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of reliability, accountability and initiative
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Customer Service and/or Sales experience
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines is a plus
  • Must be willing to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities as they grow with the company

In addition to signs, we have led the industry in window film installations since our inception in 2000, working for big box stores and small businesses alike. We have installed security film, privacy film, and solar film for Starbucks, T.J. Maxx, French Hospital, Sprint, Sunrun and many more.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
